A statement from Congressman Doc Hastings (WA-04) about today’s budget request from the U.S. Department of Energy follows:

 “In terms of Hanford cleanup, the requests for both ORP and RL are positive and will keep cleanup progress moving forward.  I will closely monitor the WTP rebaselining effort and press DOE for complete transparency as work continues toward the goal of a safe, functional and efficient treatment facility. "
